Would You Rather Be a Prince or a Pirate?

Last Halloween, I got another headache trying to find the costume my kids wanted. All three wanted to be either Harry Potter or Darth Vader. Where has imagination and creativity gone? I was proposing at least Albus Dumbledore or Captain Jack Sparrow. Nothing beats color and accessories when choosing the right costume. Harry Potter‘s glasses or his school robes just doesn’t cut it.

You know where a vast collection of costumes can be found? I discovered The Renaissance Store over the internet and was amazed at all the wonderful costumes they provide. All renaissance costumes are their specialty and I have not found any match to their apparel. You can be a pirate, prince, bard, archer, a fairy, a knight, or a warlock. The boots, swords, and hats were as close to authentic as they can be. Their items are also ideal for gifts. I’m thinking of getting a gift certificate for my nephew’s birthday this year.

Maybe this year’s Halloween will be a a lot easier for me. I’m certain that once my kids see the costumes, their mouths would open. I only hope they will not go looking for a horse if they choose to be a knight.
