Search For Technical Suppliers at Zycon

A very tedious job that I have seen employees in our office do is the searching of suppliers for engine spare parts and requesting for quotes from the best suppliers in the market. Our purchasing personnel have to spend a large amount of time researching to find suppliers that will provide quotes for our company’s evaluation and eventual placing of orders.

This task can actually be simplified with the assistance of industrial directories in the internet where the job can be completed through by just navigating through one site. Zycon is one of those sites that provide this service of supplying engineers and technical buyers a one-stop shop to find suppliers for their requirements, research about the suppliers, and eventually request for quotations from their choice among those listed in the site.

Unlike other similar sites, Zycon’s home page immediately gives the user an alphabetical listing of components or parts that are provided for by their list of suppliers. These are specifically categorized on a per component basis already, unlike other sites where each component is still sub-categorized under a main category. This way of organizing the search will prove more efficient considering that some parts may not have clear and defined categories that it can go under. A user may end up checking more than 1 main category just to search for the component that he needs.

As soon as a user finds the specific component that he requires, one click will bring him to the list of suppliers available. Each supplier has a brief description of the company, its website, and options to view the company profile, the products that the company offers (with descriptions), and a request for quotation should the user decide that it passes the criteria as a potential supplier of the required component. The panel was organized and constructed to be user-friendly that even a non-technical person like me can easily do the task.

For instance, if I was looking for quotes from suppliers of a round belt, I would click on belts in the home page and be directed to the list of suppliers in the industry. Then I filter the results by choosing round belt in the right sidebar and get a list of suppliers that supply the specific component. It is definitely a very useful site for purchasers or developers. Navigating through the site will save them time and effort. With Zycon, you complete your research and request for quotes in no time at all.
