Finding Strength in Our Roots

Isn’t it strange that we sometimes go on with our daily lives, uncertain of our destination, we walk with confidence knowing that something we do not see at the moment will catch us when we fall? I call it faith. I am not just talking about religion. It’s something inside us that tell us we belong somewhere no matter how far we go.

At the moment, it is a difficult time for me. Yet, I unexpectedly found people who stay with me and give me strength. I have found support in family I have almost forgotten. I am stubborn and independent. But I now learned that there are things I cannot do alone, there are circumstances that I cannot control. This I consider as another lesson in life that dropped on my head without warning. In life, there is no Chicken Little that warns us the sky is falling. It falls . . . we get scared . . . we cry. . . we get down on our knees. . . we stand up and go on. . . we survive.
