Nike Produces Limited Quantity of Marty McFly’s “Air McFly”

Kobe Bryant arrived in a DeLorean as the event highlight during Nike’s limited sale of the Air McFly. The futuristic Nike shoe was first viewed in “Back to the Future 2” in 1989 worn by Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly which had folks begging the sports company to produce the shoes for consumers.

Finally, Nike obliged — but definitely not for the masses. Fans lined up early to get a crack at the limited edition model. However, many left disappointed since Nike only made 350 pairs. For those determined to get a pair, just check Ebay — pairs are up for auction and currently going for as high as $1,000 (sans the power laces). Whew! That’s what I call entrepreneurship!
