Paul Pierce, the MVP in the last NBA finals that led the Boston Celtics to the championship, was handcuffed briefly during a weekend traffic stop at the Las Vegas Strip. He appeared agitated after stepping out of the car at 3 am Sunday night.
Police had Pierce take sobriety tests and the Breathalyzer which registered below the legal limit. The 6-foot-7 NBA star was not arrested nor issued any summons. However, a valet was asked to take his car while Pierce took a cab back to where he was staying.
