Disney’s Live Action Beauty and the Beast

In an entertainment industry which has found success in gore and the post apocalypse, it is refreshing to know we can still look forward to movies that feature love stories without all the drama of terminal disease, unfaithfulness, or even suicide. I am talking about the live action version of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.  I can still remember falling in love with the animation version decades ago and I swear I can sing along with almost every song in the movie.  To know it’s coming out in live action is quite exciting and scary. Scary because of the big possibility they can mess up one of the most beautiful animated movies of Disney or the actors will be forced to sing the song themselves to make us cringe.

As one of the most awaited movies in 2017, everyone has been dying to see a glimpse of the movie.  The first teaser trailer that came out a few months ago barely showed anything and just whet our appetite.  With the latest version, we now see Belle and the Beast, along with Lumiere, Cogsworth, Chip, Mrs. Potts. While it was thrilling to see more, we still don’t hear any songs. Omg . . . I only pray that Emma Watson does not murder any of the songs.  I’d rather see it lip-synched than listen to a perfect-looking Belle with a bad voice.  So, while I hold my breath and cross my fingers, we don’t have any choice but to wait.  Here’s the new official trailer for those who have not seen it.
