Self-Publish and Be the Next Bestselling Author

faith| July 2, 2008 2:44 am

Wouldn’t you want to publish your own book soon? Bloggers are known to be frustrated journalists or desperate authors. I’m not really sure about that. I love to write. But I don’t know if I have the discipline to finish an entire book. But whenever I do see JK Rowling in the news, I’d love to be in her shoes.

The most difficult part about getting your book published is finding a publisher who believes in your work. Self Publishing may be the answer to those budding novelists or authors. Authorhouse can help you, being the world’s largest self publishing company.  The company provides quality book publishing and marketing services for authors.  With Authorhouse, you need not rely on a publisher’s faith or approval in your manuscript.  You can publish your own book and place your destiny as a writer in your own hands.  Why put up with rejections from publishers?  Publishers’ judgments are not infallible.  Remember that 12 British publishers rejected JK Rowling’s manuscript before Bloomsbury decided to take it a year later.

If you have submitted a manuscript and got a rejection, do not take it sitting down.  Do something about it.  Self publish with Authorhouse  and get the last laugh — JK Rowling surely did.

Yankee Makes Late Night Visits to Madonna

faith| 1:56 am

Rumors and speculation about the Madonna-Guy Ritchie divorce keeps getting stronger and stronger. Tongues are wagging at Madonna’s Central Park West apartment because of the singer’s supposedly late night rendezvous with New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez. Doormen say that Rodriguez sneaks out even as late as midnight.

Is it over between Madonna and Ritchie? Reports say that Madonna has consulted with a high-profile lawyer that handled the divorce of Paul McCartney and Prince Charles. Meanwhile, Ritchie sought legal advice from Forsters Law Firm in London.

With the 7-year marriage about to end, the real question is what happens to the $600 million estate (whew!). This may turn out to be the legal battle of the century considering the assets involved between the the two.

Playing the Flirting Game

faith| 12:08 am

Are you a certified flirt? It’s not really my cup of tea. But I have had my flirting days. The important thing about flirting is deciding how far to go. Are you just having fun or do you want to go further? It can be an embarrassing experience when you read the signs wrong. Going further when the other is just fooling around can be a shameful experience. As for me, I have never been much of a risk taker. I play it safe and never go beyond the line unless I am absolutely certain.

How do you play the game? Just one look is all it takes for you to realize the game is on. What I usually do is give short but frequent glances to the man that sparks my interest. As soon as he approaches, I give a smile that says “I’m interested, but not too much.” This makes the game more challenging for them. When I have already made the man laugh, I know I’ve got him in my fingers.

A prerequisite to all of these is looking great. Nothing makes you look great than beautiful hair that you can flip around or play with while giving those meaningful glances. Nothing gets you Victory Hair in flirting than VO5’s Extreme Style products. Extreme Style by VO5 can make your hair look sexy and ready for some tousling and turning. You should also try out their Ultimate Flirting Championship Game in their website. Find out if you have what it takes to outflirt the competition. I had such a laugh that I tried the game several times. I did well, but I still need a bit of practice. Go give it a try and have fun. Grab the widget too and place it in your blog to share the game with friends and readers. With all the writing and thinking that we do, it’s a welcome break. And you get to practice your flirting skills too.
