Finally, a video game aimed at saving lives rather than ending them has been developed by British company TruSim to help in training responders during emergency. Triage Trainer is set in the immediate aftermath of an explosion with casualties scattered everywhere. The player’s job is to diagnose and triage the injured. It involves making calls that will determine which patients are in immediate danger and which are not seriously injured.

The game was developed as an improvement to the traditional training method which proves more expensive and more complicated. With the game, it will be unnecessary to close down a large area in the city to conduct the training and all possible injuries are easily simulated for a more effective learning method.
