My hair has always had a mind of its own. It doesn’t follow any rules, it doesn’t care if ever get any dates or not. It just flows where it goes. Since I have never been confident about the way my hair looks, flirting has never been part of my game. Thus, you can say that I never had victory hair? I had never gone on to a date and enjoyed the company of a gorgeous man that was attracted to me because of my beautiful hair.

Well, now may be my chance. Extreme Style by VO5 targets to provide its consumers with victory hair. If you want a list of worst pick-up lines, the list is a long one in Hollywood movies. While we cringe at some of them now, you have to admit that they probably made you flush and giggle the first time you watched them. The truth is, one of my favorite movies is froth with these pick-up lines. I love Jerry Macguire. I am trying to remember now when the lines in the movie became part of the worst pick-up line list. During the time of screening, it never occurred to me they were crappy. I guess they start becoming crap when people start to say they were crap.

When I think about it, the lines were actually ok. Problem is, it’s not possible to use them anymore because the movie had become so popular. And maybe we were hoping deep inside that it would’ve been great if the movie never made any money. The lines would have worked in real life if there were not so many people who watched it.

I was wondering if they would work in the Ultimate Flirting Championship launched by Extreme Style by VO5. I did try them and I couldn’t help but laugh at myself while I was playing the game. I started getting responses from movie pick-up lines too. Before we knew it, we were having fun dishing out Hollywood lines. Unfortunately, I didn’t know enough to win. The rules of courtship and dating can really be confusing sometimes. It is so confusing that some people get the wrong idea. I’m sure everyone of us have, especially women, have heard creepy and lame pick-up lines at least once in our lifetime. What’s yours? Guess what mine is. “My mother told me I would find you someday.” If that doesn’t give you goose bumps, I don’t know what will.

Then again, pick-up lines depend on who’s delivering them. If we’re talking about a guy who resembles Hugh Jackman or Patrick Dempsey, no pick-up line is ever lame. Of course, I’m shooting for the stars. I have never been good at flirting. I guess I never developed enough confidence to feel like I am knock-out. For one, I always have trouble taming my hair. Most people say my wavy locks are great. Why do I feel like I want it straight and fluid sometimes? I know it doesn’t come close to being victory hair. Victory hair is knowing your hair looks sexy and attractive that it makes you brave enough to meet that mystery guy’s stare head on. This type of confidence is what Extreme Style by VO5 offers.
