A Life Without Limits

While most of us complain about our financial problems or emotional problems, people like Nick wake up in the morning with a smile on their face believing in the wonders that the world has to offer. Watching this video has put me in shame as I remember whining about how difficult the life that God has given me. May this inspire us to find light during our darkest moments and see beauty in the ugliest of circumstances.

Nick Vujicic was born on December 4, 1982 with the rare Tetra-amelia disorder, a congenital disorder characterized by the absence of all 4 limbs. His Serbian Christian parents were initially devastated. Their boy was healthy, but they knew the difficulties that would lie ahead.

The Job that Gives You a Chance to Travel the World

One of my dreams is to be able to travel the world. I want to visit Rome, France, Russia, India, Australia, Switzerland, and all other peace-loving country on earth. So, let’s scratch off Iraq and Afghanistan from the list. At my current salary rate plus my extra income from the blog, it still seems impossible for this dream to come true.

However, there is job that can give you the chance to fulfill a dream of traveling the globe for free. The height requirement for the job excludes me from this option but others may have that chance. You don’t need to be a genius for this job, just hospitable, cheerful, and responsible. Most international flight attendants have traveled the world and back — now fully-aware of how the air in other countries smell different from home.

If you are qualified for a flight attendant career, visit International Air and Hospitality Academy’s (AHA) website and find out how to make that first step. AHA offers several quality training programs that can give you a chance to work in top airlines around the world. The academy is located in Vancouver and houses the necessary equipment and facility that turns out the best flight attendants, reservations agent, sous chef, and other airline specialists. It is considered one of the world’s finest flight attendant school.

The flight attendant career is one of the few jobs in the world where you actually get paid to have lunch in Italy or go shopping in Paris or swim in the Caribbean. However, if you don’t qualify for the physical criteria, you can still opt for other airline jobs. Other airline employees also have the chance to fly for free, though not as frequent as the flight attendant.

So, grab the opportunity and live a life of travel and adventure.

Hope for Drug Addiction

Life has an inevitable way of throwing challenges and dilemmas in our lives that make living it seem like a ride on a boat with an uncertain destination under unpredictable weather. We row our way through open seas hoping for a sign of land. We enjoy sunrise and sunsets or survive storms. Through it all, we hold on tight, making sure we don’t go overboard.

There are no clear instructions on how to hold on. Most of us cope through instinct while the rest are lucky enough to find other people who help them survive. While most end up hurting those around them, some end up hurting themselves with alcohol or drugs. When a person has gone overboard, drowning in vice he can no longer control, is there a way out? Is there a way to get back on the boat and continue the journey?

There is still hope. Just as we have found ways to destroy ourselves, we have also found ways to keep going and survive. At the moment, Residential Drug Treatment institutions have been established worldwide that provide lost souls all the opportunity to get back on the boat. Narconon Vista Bay is one of those reputable institutions who successfully helped so many people get back on their feet again. Narconon’s Drug Treatment Program is backed by more than 40 years of program history and a success rate of about 76% where graduates choose to remain clean and have become productive members of society once more.

Narconon’s program involves 4 phases that ensure an addict not only recovers physically but also emotionally and mentally. Phase I involves a Sauna-based Detox Program to rid the body of the drugs that can remain there for years. Unlike other Substance Abuse Rehab, the medically-supervised program offers full detoxification that will get rid of all the drug residues in the body. Phase II to IV involves Educational Therapies and a Follow-up Program that will help the addict with self-control, recover self-esteem, and assist addicts to become part of the society again. Narconon’s faith in the program is absolute that they offer a Graduate Assurance Plan where re-admission will be free of charge if a relapse occurs within 6 months from graduation for graduates following their approved discharge plan.

Substance abuse is not merely a physical adversity. More than anything else, it destroys the mind and the soul. And it is this very truth that Narconon understands better than other rehab institutions.
